It’s no surprise that it’s become one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities. In Boise, residents and visitors alike enjoy the outdoors year-round. Even if you’re not an outdoor enthusiast, there are lots of other things to do, such as jazz and music festivals, live theater, and art exhibits. The city is home to the largest Basque population in the United States. Attending the blue and orange Boise State Broncos and the silver and black Idaho Steelheads (Semi-Pro Hockey) are two of the most popular sporting events in the state.
